What are the rules for free travel for children up to 6 years old?

Children up to 5 years, 11 months, and 29 days old are entitled to free transportation, provided they do not occupy seats, with one child per guardian, in accordance with ANTT resolution no. 1383 of March 29, 2006. It is mandatory to have a ticket as travel identification. The guardian must request the ticket at one of our agencies or through our Customer Service (0800 728 0044).

If the guardian's ticket was purchased through the official Gontijo.com.br website, it can be issued through their login.

Log in, click on the "Purchase History" option, and select the trip for which you want to issue a lap child's ticket.

Click on the "Include child under 6 years" option on the right side in your purchase summary.

Enter the information as requested (document, name, and date of birth) for the child, and click to issue the ticket.

You will receive the child's ticket in your email and must present it at the time of boarding along with the necessary documentation.
